Konstructa Hire Ltd is a member of the Shepherd Group, one of the leading family-owned private businesses in the UK. The Group employs around 3,500 people and has an annual turnover exceeding £600m. Konstructa Hire Ltd specialises in the hire of site accommodation to the construction sector across England and Wales. We are now seeking to appoint a Business Development Manager for our Dunstable Site.

Key Responsibilities

The main purpose of this role is to promote, develop and grow the Konstructa Hire business. Predominantly within the construction accommodation hire sector, through personal customer contact and structured development programmes.

Principle accountabilities for this position are:

·   To achieve hire order targets, as agreed by the General Manager and or Depot Manager.
·   To be aware of potential hire opportunities and ensure wherever possible customer contact is made.
·   To generate fresh initiatives to heighten local awareness in the area and  ensure maximum conversion of direct enquiries.

Skills Required

To succeed in this diverse and challenging environment your ability to identify business opportunities should be coupled with the ability to provide fast solutions to customers requirements. In addition attention to project detail, cost management and Health and Safety are key requirements.

Experience

You will have attained a good standard of education and have excellent organisational and communication skills. You will also have a strong Sales background.
