Its portfolio ranges from studio and one-bed apartments to luxury five-bed houses. With developments underway across the south-east region, the company needed good-quality temporary site accommodation for employees working on its sites. Solution: The company was looking for robust accommodation that could provide complete on-site facilities for its workers. It was approached by new site-accommodation supplier Konstructa Hire Limited, which promised high-quality, good-value buildings with prompt delivery. Rialto Homes decided to hire one Konstructa building as a trial. They were very pleased with the standard of the accommodation, which was delivered in excellent condition – complete with all necessary furniture – and performed well under site conditions. It was well received by the teams on site. The anti-vandal units are constructed entirely from steel, providing excellent levels of security, as well as a comfortable workplace for occupants. Since the successful trial, Rialto Homes has hired more Konstructa buildings for its house-building projects. The firm currently has 20 units on hire at four sites in the South East. The buildings are used as site offices, canteens, drying rooms and toilet blocks. “Konstructa also supplies us with everything we need to equip the buildings,” says Dave. “That includes all the furniture for the offices and canteens. It means we only have one supplier to contact for all our temporary site accommodation needs, giving us a one-stop-shop service.” In an industry where timescales are often very tight, Konstructa Hire Ltd has the ability to get its buildings on site fast. Its service even extends to providing buildings in the corporate colours of its clients. For Rialto Homes, Konstructa provided all-white buildings to match the company’s corporate identity. Dave adds: “The service from Konstructa has been very good. They have always done everything we’ve asked, and buildings for all sites have been delivered in good condition and on the agreed date.”
